Yeah I mean the matchup looked in the Mariners favor big time. Ortiz has been outstanding and I think he has been the key to a couple of these wins for us.

... and OAK swept LAA ... so the TEX win keeps TEX only 1 back. OAK and TEX have the top 2 AL records.

Very nice TEX does not face OAK until May ... and OAK next goes to DET for 3.

I am loving Ortiz. Reminds me a little of Soria. He's short but pitches big. I loved the look on their hitters faces when Ortiz came in pounding the zone after Grimm was wild as could be.
