I want to keep him up if possible playing daily maybe LF or 3B If Smith takes LF.

Concerned though that this wont happen if Miller comes back. They might just send Duran to AAA
Seems like a guy like Culbertson could get released

Duran needs to play daily wherever he is at
Has there been any type of a time-frame for the return of Miller? Will he be back by deadline time?

Walker may be the odd man out then and that also does not include Thompson or Leody coming up. Maybe some injuries happen. They usually do
or we get rid of Culberson and/or Miller and work out a rotational schedule that maximizes their playing time.

The only way I see White being a regular in the future is if we have such a solid offense that they can afford to keep him in the lineup for his speed in the field and on the base paths. Otherwise he will be a late inning defensive replacement or pinch runner which of course he is excellent at.
I still remember that outfielder the rangers traded for from the Rockies who couldn’t hit, but he would come into the game the last inning or two for defense.

white would be great at that role if we can’t find a stud CF.

Not sure I trust Woody to do that —both get rid of and second make sure the young guys get full playing time

He has hit well in round rock this year. Although he has cooled off. I think Thompson might be better than either one.
I think you could be right. Need to give both enough opportunities to really know for sure. Kole has done a good job for us but we need to see these buys eventually at the big league level.

I am not a fan of the bunt especially before the 9th but we do need to move runners better and look for contact when we have guys in scoring position and no outs
That should become a weapon for Eli.

I am already annoyed with the annual marketing for the all-star game. the Rangers have one guy who should go.

This race just got a lot more interesting

Rangers (26-29)
Again, if the Angels had gone 6-6 over those dozen games, the Rangers would still be in third place in the AL West, but 6 1/2 games out of second rather than tied with L.A. And let’s face it: No one would be considering the Rangers serious contenders. People might not be considering them that now, regardless. FanGraphs gives them 4.2% odds of making the playoffs, which is only a little bit higher than the Cubs. But the Rangers get to appear on this list because of the Angels’ fall.

the getting rid of part is easy but the young guys getting full playing time part isn't. how do you accomplish that without getting rid of Heim, Lowe, Seager or Semien and Calhoun?
