How does Oakland get all these performances?

Maybe we should steal some of their scouts.

Of course the park helps. But Feldman couldn't use it.

Holland NEEDS to take advantage.

Something is wrong if we deal with this again tomorrow.

Might need to explore trades.

Cannot hurt to kick the tires.

Hard to say who to replace in the rotation, though. The entire rotation's problem this season has been consistency. Just when you think you have the pecking order figured out, for example let's say Darvish and Holland as the team's 2 best, then Darvish only lasts 5, Holland gets blown up 2 starts in a row, and Colby and Harrison each pitch a gem.

In fact, I can't find a glaring weakness anywhere on the roster, except that none of the roster has performed consistently up to their capabilities.

I hope I'm overreacting but Holland is making nervous.

This teams window to win a WS is NOW.

We need some reliable veteran presence in his spot.

Hopefully he grows up. And I don't mean stop being goofy.

Congrats Feldman. You just got out-pitched by a CF with a batting practice fastball.

Thanks Naps.

Fans booing?

lol If only we had an 11-run rally in the 9th to give them a reason to boo.

Holland has to be the most inconsistent bi-polar guy on the team. Guessing whether he will be absolutely dominant or horrible each time out is a coin flip. It's frustrating to say the least. He has ace material and talent but a fragile mental makeup to say the least. You can tell he's still a bit immature and it certainly didn't help instill a lot of confidence when he revealed on the radio last year that he often starts panicking on the mound and worrying that he's about to let in a bunch of runs.

It's Oakland. I'm surprised Mike Young wasn't stabbed for breaking up the no-hitter.

No problem. Here's a few positive takeaways from tonight to get us by until tomorrow's game:

1) Rangers avoided the shutout, keeping their scoring streak alive for the season

2) Angels are about to lose to Seattle, so at least the Rangers stay 4.5 up

CJ was his mentor. It's a lefty thing.

Who was the losing pitcher in Game 6?

Agree ... I think Tateyama had a strategic DL assignment at the end of camp in order for TEX to have the opportunity to make a decision on Lowe.

Yes it was Lowe, but you continue to ignore the fact that he was pitching in his first game coming off the dl where he hadn't thrown a pitch in an MLB game in weeks.

I remember reading an article that was written by one of the local writers right after Holland signed his four year agreement. Can't remember who wrote it, but it was brought out that unnamed people in the Rangers front office were surprised by the long term deal given to Holland. They thought Holland's upside as a pitcher was not much more than "journeyman".
