Dude. I know this is your way of coping, but seriously. It’s a 6-run lead. We’re not in imminent danger. We're going to lose. And it's 100% Chapman's fault. Cut him immediately. Unbelievable.

Good question.Where's Stratton? Still in Baltimore?
That’s exactly what I said. For those on here who still don’t understand where I’m coming from, I’m going to try one last time:This is not on Bochy. If he put another pitcher in there and he doesn't do his job then again we blame Bochy. 6 run lead. This is on Chapman.
I found him. He's still stuck in Tampa.Good question.
I don’t even have confidence in Chapman coming in the 8th.In a game like this, why would Bochy pick Chapman with a pen with better relievers?
Sorry Will. My bad. That’s exactly what I said. For those on here who still don’t understand where I’m coming from, I’m going to try one last time:
Pitching Chapman on plenty of rest in the 8th inning with a big lead and he stinks up the joint = Chapman’s fault, not Bochy’s
Pitching Chapman in a 1-run game in the 9th inning one night after pitching him in the 9th inning = Bochy’s fault, not Chapman’s
I can understand that.If we advance, there's not a single situation where I would put Chapman in a game.
Maybe if we're down 10 runs. Maybe.

I definitely wanted Wash fired after the 2011 WSPoor choice of words on my end. I know that's not what you were saying. Just think it's silly to want to replace him (after the season) since we're about win our second straight playoff series, and considering the fact this team has barely tasted any playoff success during the entirety of it's existence. I think Bochy botched the bullpen in the regular season, but he's done a much better job so far in the postseason, IMO. I'd like to see what he would do next year with more talent in the pen.

It's to the point where I can’t even watch Chapman anymore. Don’t want to put my self thru the stressI can understand that.
I want to see those 4 as the first reliever in for each game…that would most likely get us deep in the first 3-4 games if not the whole series. If Scherzer and Gray are able to pitch in the ALCS, even as openers or long relievers, that would eliminate 2 more bullpen guys we have to use. We have the luxury of using Perez, Heaney, Scherzer, Gray, etc as multi-inning guys who won’t embarrass themselves like some of our other relievers do.
I see 8 quality innings from the bullpen if they pitch out of it and that would eat up most of the first 3 games the bullpen would be used.If Scherzer and Gray are able to pitch in the ALCS, even as openers or long relievers, that would eliminate 2 more bullpen guys we have to use. We have the luxury of using Perez, Heaney, Scherzer, Gray, etc as multi-inning guys who won’t embarrass themselves like some of our other relievers do.
Be good if we can use them as openers so we can see how deep they can go before going to the pen. Kind of what we did with Heaney. If Scherzer and Gray are able to pitch in the ALCS, even as openers or long relievers, that would eliminate 2 more bullpen guys we have to use.
