Yes - he has to defeat the notion that he will go for that pitch every time. Taking walks is part of that equation.seems to be a slow learner to me.

not to mention benetti thinks he's actually witty. he's ridiculous.can't tell you how much i hate the sox announcing team. that stupid game they play! take the number of homeruns aparicio hit in 1967 divide by the date of frank thomas's birthday, then subtract adam dunn's children and waddaya get? WHI THE FUCK CARES? they can shove that children's crap way up their asses! yes ... that's how i really feel.

I actually like Benetti when he calls games on espn and college sports. He leaves the cringe/cheesy at home. Sox broadcast i get 2nd hand awkwardness oftennot to mention benetti thinks he's actually witty. he's ridiculous.
This whole vaughn only facing lefties shit is beyond annoying. Their 6th outfielder is starting infront of him
maybe they just feel taking him out eases the pressure. they certainly won't keep him on the bench.
The one thing about Vaughn and his lack of big league experience that concerned me so far has come home to roost. He just looks lost at this point. I'm certainly not giving up on him - who knows, after a few more games he might just start lighting up the joint. When the season is over, we'll have a chance to better evaluate if he should have gained the extra year of experience in the minors before being promoted.maybe they just feel taking him out eases the pressure. they certainly won't keep him on the bench.
Then they shouldn’t have started him up at the big leagues and sacrifice a yr of service. Get Williams out of the lineup... let alone batting 5thmaybe they just feel taking him out eases the pressure. they certainly won't keep him on the bench.
Only thought I have is that we're better than our record...but we aren't as good as I'd hoped we'd be. Major chinks in the armor.
