This should be prime time for dealing Cease. The Sox ought to get major league ready 2nd baseman and RF - along with a starting pitcher who can contribute MLB level in late 24 or in 25. Probably the Sox should also have a high ceiling type for A ball thrown in as a sweetener. The Orioles are the best match up for this kind of haul, but the Yankees - Braves, Reds, Mets, Cubs, Pirates, Astros and Diamondbacks have all shown interest in Cease.

As Random Thoughts 2.4 soon approaches, let's reflect back on a wonderful 2023 White Sox season.............oh wait, this is Christmas, not April Fool's.

The only positive of the three and it's a huge one is Liam's return from his terrible bout with cancer. So that's my pick.
