Nyyyyaaaah, I'll think I'll stick with my list. It's more of a "When you do something of note as a White Sox, I'll recognize you...but I'm not being sold a bill of goods on an open palm" list.

I heard Steve Stone (who I like) comment the other day Mendick didn't have the kind of arm to be a good Short Stop. I would have loved to hear him back pedaling on that today.*What on earth do we have against getting above .500???????
*Giolito is usually good for 2-3 really shitty starts every season, even in his good years. Chalk this up as #1.
*No one on the team worked for a BB, but we made up for it by fanning 12 times.
*Of all the offseason transactions, the Eaton signing was perhaps my least favorite. But so far he's been pretty much a ++ for this struggling team.
*Pito traditionally gets off to slowish starts each year, but this may easily be his worst. I know at some point he'll get it going, the question is when.
*Mendick for closer.
then you trade eloy for a real catcher. So if Mercedes continues to hit well as DH and Vaughn gets himself situated as a contributor in the big leagues in LF - what do you do with Eloy?
It may even be sooner than we think. My guess is Cease has one more shot to get it done. The Sox have won 4 straight and 6 out of 7 - get a day off and then get the Tigers at home -with Giolito and Lynn coming back into the rotation.
It may not be long before Kopech takes Cease's spot in the rotation.
At this point I'd probably swap Kopech & Madrigal, but it's really neck-n-neck. Clearly the Yerminator is #1 and if the ROY ended today, he'd likely be the AL's winner.White Sox rookie of the year rankings (by me):
1) Mercedes
2) Madrigal
3) Kopech
4) Vaughn
Colome 5.63 era 2 saves - 3 blown saves (You're welcome Twinkies)Of course it's really super early still in the season, but for all the problems our boys have so far shown (with an emphasis in particular regarding our bullpen), whuda thunk at this point the Yankees would be 9-12 and our archrival Twins struggling at 7-13? We can only imagine the attitudes from these two teams' fans. Yikes!!
Other mild surprises in reverse to date:
Royals at 13-7
Pirates at 11-11
Mariners at 13-9
Red Sox at 14-9
