You fell victim to one of the classic blunders.
Monkey, excellent extra research! Nice.
Of those 4, Cooks is the only one I would bet on to exceed those averages in year one.
I may have to side with Milk on this one. With Graham in NO, I don't see the Saints WR (i.e. Cooks) getting as many targets. That said:
BUF WR 2013 - 296 targets. 247 fantasy points. 11 TD.
NO WR 2013 - 257 targets. 330 fantasy points. 14 TD.
Isn't that just sad? ? I mean that's Bowe, Steve Smith, Cecil Shorts and Stevie Johnson.. Most of whom are generally considered adequate fantasy options. No WR in Carolina, JAX, KC, St. Louis, Buffalo or the Jets surpassed 100 FF pts last year, so opportunity to be the #1 WR on a crappy team doesn't mean much. Jets and Buffalo couldn't even get to 80. Boykin, Douglas and Stills were better.
Do we spend too much time on the top of the order? If we dissected the middle rounds more than the "top 10", wouldn't we be much better off?
