here's a question. is anyone here aware of a pay site, like MLB , that shows pro football games. i'm talking about where you can pay to watch a particular team thruout the season like you can with MLB?

Not that I know of. Only way to watch out of market NFL is through YouTube’s Sunday ticket.

Astros Release Jose Abreu

The Astros released former AL MVP Jose Abreu in the second season of a three-year, $58.5 million contract. Read more at MLB Trade Rumors.

He's had a solid career, including an MVP season. But unless a team can take him on without incurring the cost of his remaining contract, for which the 'Stros are on the hook, this otherwise appears to be the end of the line for the guy.

a very over-rated player. any smart team will certainly not over-pay .... but we can dream.

This year there are literally only 5 teams that have zero chance of making the playoffs, and 25 who will be or could be buyers. Massive sellers market, you might be pleasantly surprised what Crochet and Robert bring. Robert probably doesn’t get a Soto level haul but he is young still and under team control until 2027 it should be pretty good

Probably the 6th or 7th Sox game I've caught on TV this season and finally a game they actually won!!! What a rare joy. I've seen a couple where they had the lead late, but naturally blew it, as in what else is new. But I guess this time the lead was just too big for even the Sox to blow. One interesting little factoid. They are tied for the major league lead in HRs since June 1st. 25 of their 65 dingers, including 4 last night, have come in the last two weeks. Not sure what's behind this sudden power surge, but here's to hoping it lasts a bit longer.

So with yet another game where our beloved Sox snatched defeat from the jaws of victory, it turns out that they've now lost 15 games this season after leading in the 7th. If that isn't damnation of the way the pen has performed up to this point, then I don't know what is.

But just in case anyone thinks our pen is solely responsible for our garbage record, let's consider if the Sox with a decent BP could have won a respectable 12 of those 15 games, which my guess is close to the MLB average, they'd still only be 32-44. So there's plenty of blame to go around why ours is such a cruddy team.
