He was a lone hold over from the Fox staff.
The "key guy in the whole org now" has got to be Matt Nagy.
Also like the OC hiring of Mark Helfrich.
It may be Nagy's offense and Helfrich may only hold the title of OC, but Helfrich was on Chip Kelly's staff in Oregon and is said to have helped with the development of Marcus Mariota.
Nice to see these kind of moves.

Dave Ragone has experience as a QB, but I have no opinion of him as a coach.

- The actual HC presiding over him, creating the system Trubisky will play within and calling plays for him.
- The GM responsible for building talent around him.
Seeing as we have an former QB/QB coach as a head coach. That also makes the QB coaches role a bit less pivotal. The QB coach will most likely act as an extension of Nagy.
To be honest... Trubisky's QB coach doesn't really even make the short list.
