Everyone knows that the 2019 NFL draft does not look deep or great for QB's. I'm curious who you think will be leading the offense next season. You can select two quarterbacks for the purpose of this poll. You can either select who you think OR who you want. Just explain a bit about your votes in the thread if you please!

I went with Keenum and Jones. I don’t see Elway cutting ties with Case. I think Jones seems like the type of guy Elway will like. Haskins would be the choice but probably more then Elway will spend to move up to get him.

Yeah, I don't know about that but one can dream about Wentz or even Foles.

The first half of the 2017, Wentz was on track to be league MVP and the Eagles were really looking like contenders - which definitely pointed to Wentz as the one who was pushing the team to another level ..

But something strange happened, and a backup. cast-off, unassuming guy who contemplated retirement came in and lead that team to a SB and was MVP ..

It's tough for a player to come back from an injury like Wentz had and be expected to step right in and play like nothing happened - in addition to the physical aspect ( which is huge ), there is the fact that the player must get back psychologically to where he was pre-injury .. and get back to playing at NFL game speed ..

I guess what I'm saying is that Wentz can;t be expected to step right back in ... But the truth of the matter is that with him in there, the Eagles were looking like they would miss the playoffs ... Until Foles comes back, and deja vu, here we go again ..

What if the Eagles go on another run ... If Foles goes into New Orleans and Philly knocks off the Saints ( where NO beat them 48-10 w/ Wentz ), there is a good chance that they might go all the way .. again ..

I don;t think Foles goes somewhere else and elevates that new team the same way - he's good, but I think for what they do in Philly, he's perfect ... So with that said - the Eagles have a guy who is "perfect" for their team, vs a guy who, while he certainly looked great for half of 2017, Wentz hasn;t won anything yet ..

It wouldn;t hurt for John to make a call

Howies Not getting anything for Foles. If philly gets to the NFcc game again going to interesting decision by howie the trader. I’d trade 2 #1’s for Wentz

I mentioned elsewhere they should at least see if the Eagles will entertain a trade for Wentz. New scenery may be all he needs to bounce back. Especially if the Eagles go on a run. I’m rooting for them to do just that so the Broncos chances of trading for Wentz increase.

I see a lot of fans thinking about snagging Wentz. I think it's going to be very difficult to do, even if Foles gets them back to the Super Bowl. Minimally, it would take multiple 1st round picks, maybe even three. That would be tough for the Broncos to give up in my opinion for a QB that hasn't shown he can stay healthy.

The cost of maneuvering in the draft for a QB may cost less then what we are talking for Wentz and Wentz has used up most of his rookie deal already. Only 1 year remains and the fifth year option.

The current Colts organization would not deny him going if he wanted a chance to start.
Personally I hope they keep him for 2019. He is cheap and is a great back up to have.

He's also a great member of the team. More than you usually see from a backup. He initially set up the players only meeting with Colts players after the 1-5 start. They've gone 10-1 since. Good character guy.

A move from #11 to #2 would probably require 2019's first round pick ( #11 ), 2019's 3rd rounder, 2020's first round pick and 2020's 3rd rounder ..... We'd get #2 and probably something like a 5th round pick in there also ...

In 2020, I absolutely would. In 2021 I'd give four 1st rounders to get to number one, if Trev comes out. But I'd rather not trade up for a qb in this draft.

Saying that, watch us do it because Elway fell in love with Lock.
