Mase went down early on the goal, but a pretty nice shot too.

Akeson. Laughton. Raffl has been a pretty decent line. Lot of zone time at least.

Mason looks solid. The Flyers as a team not so much. They look much slower than the Leafs, still having trouble getting the puck out of zone, penalties still a concern. Glad it's preseason.

This game reminds me of an old pickup game. Boring game to watch and it's the same shit that we struggled with last season and continuing into this season possibly. Defense is going to kill us. Offense not much better. Missing G is going to hurt.

I've also seen my fill of Schultz. They can go ahead and waive him.

Seriously though.. Rosehill, Rinaldo, stortini.. Rinaldo can at least forecheck? Rosehill and stortini need to go.

I was very disappointed in Morin. That last goal he showed no energy or effort to help Mason out. His position seemed out of place. No way is he showing he wants to make the team with that lack of effort. The defense is horrific. However, I don't think Streit or Coburn even played?

Ya it was a bad game that's why they've never shown preseason as much in the past haha! I thought Morin looked good until the end. Laughton wasn't too noticeable but no one looked real good. Leafs had more starters in their lineup especially on D...

No one who played in Philadelphia yesterday played tonight. They looked gassed at the end after playing back to back.

Yep, we are still doing some of the same things that we did last season that led to some of crappy play. D is not looking so good and the team did look tired and slow. Looks like their goon skills are doing fine though. Its the preseason, but we shall see how things progress.

wouldn't panic too much about the D.. Del Zotto and Schenn were the only regulars that played last night, and they're supposed to be the 3rd pair.

morin, alt, lauridsen, and Schultz all wont see much ice time for the flyers this year. Except maybe Alt or Schultz in case of injury.

I will say, from what I've scene:

1. Sanheim
2. Hagg
3. Ghost
4. Morin
5. Alt

in terms of play of our dmen future.

Lol. Stortini is a tough cookie. He's a classic goon and missing his teeth even proves it. Can you imagine if this was the 80s again and our 4th line had Stortini, Rosehill, and shit whoever? Geez, it would be nuts. Then again, it was cool watching Berube and Dave Brown back in the day taking care of business on the ice. Different game now. These guys will be cut I'm sure.

I'm more hopeful that I'm wrong about my "Laughton won't be more than a borderline 3rd/4th line player" prediction.
