I watched the retape of the game on NFL Network. Cyrus Jones looked bad on several defensive plays, especially that long TD pass late in the first half. He fielded all the punt and kickoffs cleanly but didn't get much of a return. I really liked Carr. Ghost is starting to scare me a little with his kicking. Very early yet but maybe BB should get someone warming up in the bullpen.

Now that I've taken my meds........

Jimmy G..........2 TDs, 265 yds passing looked good once he got into a bit of a routine. Moved the team very well.

Brandon Bolden......Solid RB performance and broke a beauty for 34 yards.

Dion Lewis........Looks like the Lewis of 2 years ago before the knee blew out. Could be a big year for him.

Austin Carr........Was the QB life line and made the catches he had to make. Targeted 12 times and had 8 catches.

Hollister............Was unexpectedly good. Was able to run the Gronk route up the seam and make the catch. He should get serious consideration for a TE spot on the roster.

Glenn (Baby) Gronkowski.....Made a couple of great catches. The best a beautiful behind the back snag and run up the side line on a 3rd and 8 for 12 yards. Big Bro had to be excited.

Now the bad news...

Cyrus Jones.......Absolute horrible decisions on kick offs. You don't catch the ball 8 yards deep in the end zone and attempt to run it out. Twice he was stopped at the 10 and once he made it to the 22. He is not an NFL CB.
He got toast on the long TD and was out of position on at least three other passes. Personally, I don't think this kid is worth a roster spot, no matter how well he can catch a punt.

Jordan Richards.....He was responsible for letting Grant get loose on a 79 yard TD run. He had a chance to come straight up and take the RB on head to head. Instead, he stopped, Grant cut to his left and Richards took a horrible angle and was left standing about 6 yards away for the runner as he cruised to the end zone. He looked like a Pop Warner first timer.

Jacoby Brisette..... 8 for 18. the 10 he missed were all 65 feet over the receivers' heads. He really shit the bed in the final 1:48 of the game. On two consecutive plays with under a minute, he took 20 seconds to get the team lined up and start a play. On the final three passes two were over the receivers' heads and the final one was into the 6th row of the end zone seats. He says it was adrenalin, excuse me? You played in two real games last year, don't give me that shit.......

Most of the starters on both sides did not play. Some newbies were very impressive, others should start cleaning out their lockers.

The Ravens fans have nothing to compalin about. He tried to do almost nothing for Rice, then when that video came out the shit hit the fan. At least the Dolphins have some precedence now though six games at face value is a lot. Brady got four games with suspicion substantiated with lies, so six aint that bad. And anything coming Elliot's way seems deserved.

The saints can cry with us. Print the shirts in black and gold and call it a day. Everyone else, as far as I see, egged him on.
