Only the Denver Broncos committed fewer fouls for less yards than Miami's 11 penalties accepted against and 107 yards assessed on those flags this exhibition season. The Dolphins don't beat themselves on the field and make their opponent do it. Patriots will have to play mistake free football and not give the Dolphins extra yards or extra downs.

Dolphins WR's have taken a lot of injuries. Will they befull strength with that sloppy O-line trying to protect Tua?

My crystal ball sees some interceptions in Tuas 1st few games. How will they respond?

With under 2 minutes to play, Mac Jones leads the Patriots down the field within FG range. Nordin kicks a 45 yard FG to win the game 24-21. Thus putting into motion a new version of Brady and Vinatieri.

I find no fault in dreaming big. Extrapolating the comparison between Vinatieri and Nordin and applying that to Mac, he'll be throwing 99 yard TDs.

I watched last years game #1 a few nights ago and last night I watched our 2nd game against Miami. Some observations:
Game 1 wim was not pretty. Much todo was made about Cam in that game but he was terrible.

Game #2 loss was not as bad as I remembered (but still bad) We had Miami shut out at the half and by 4th quarter it was a 3 point game.
Most notable was we were playing almost entirely with players now gone, PS players, rookies, and 2nd/3rd string. Tua did not look good.
With our current team, this would have been a shutout!

Dolphins are going to be swaeting bullets when this years game #1 is over.....

Dolphins have a new Offensive coordinator. 3rd time in 3 years.
Much to do about Tua being more experienced at QB. He does have 7 games afterall!
Miami's O-line has been a revolving door. If we talked about any of their O-linemen, Fins fans would say "he is not starting at that position"
Fact of the matter is: Brian Flores doesn't know who will be starting where.
Their best lineman is converted to guard and still learning the position.

I didn’t have a car. I just got my license last year at 24. That’s the biggest thing. I got a car and a new license now. That’s the big thing.
Now he's also learning to play guard:

“Getting the hang of it, you could say that,” Hunt said. “From going out to in, it takes a little work. I think I’m doing good with it. I think I’m on pace to continue to get better. Right now I’m still a little raw and still working on some things, some technical things. But it’s been good. I can’t complain about it."

OK, I'll go along with that. Tough division. Really tough schedule. Did they really improve that much over last year?

A good buddy of mine is a die hard Steeler fan so I talk Steelers all the time and I think as you say, it's going to be a tough year.

O-line still not set
O-line very young
QB has played in 7 games
O-line players playing out of position
23rd ranked offense still trying to improve but not settled.
Think BB can come up with a game plan for our defense to make life difficult for Tua and the offense?

Consider this: Miami’s offensive line currently features seven players who have started less than 16 games and have been in the league for two seasons of tenure or less:

• Michael Deiter: 15 starts (2 seasons of NFL play) playing out of position
• Solomon Kindley: 13 starts (1 season of NFL play) has not solidified his position. Trying to replace
• Austin Jackson: 12 starts (1 season of NFL play) losing his starter label
• Robert Hunt: 11 starts (1 season of NFL play) playing out of position
• Greg Little: 6 starts (2 seasons of NFL play) just arrived
• Liam Eichenberg: 0 starts (2021 rookie) struggling
• Robert Jones: 0 starts (2021 rookie) struggling

I wanted to watch Buffalo in 1et game but since I'm in Georgia, I get Atlanta or Jacksonville. I will watch the Buffalo game later (Tuesday???)
