Don’t try to understand why Dalton Risner is still a free agent. You’ll just end up looking like the meme of people with mathematical equations spinning around their heads. The other interior blockers on the list are of the backup variety, or they are at or approaching their mid-30s.

Been watching soe 'non-Patriots' football shows.

Very interesting take on the Dolphins,

1. The Chargers DL was as bad as it gets. Tua had six or seven seconds on nearly every pass.
2. Tyreek Hill was wide open for most of the game. From the very beginning, he showed then that the B on him could not do the job by himself. And with no pressure, Tua was able to wait for Tyreek to make three or four moves and then hit him where ever he was on the field.
3. No one at all has discussed the fact that the final score was 36-34 and that this was pretty much "Last team to have the ball wins".

Summary: Pats/Fish

Patriots gave up the ball twice early in the game, which gave the Eagles 13 points. Take bak either turnover and we'd be talking a Patriots' victory. Bill Belichick had a defense in place to stop AJ Brown and Devonte Smith. He plans for every game and doesn't repeatedly send out the same defense.Expect the defense to show some formations that Tua hasn't seen. From the performance of the Patriots front six or seven last week, don't expect Tua to have more than three seconds to get rid of the ball, if he has that long. If the Patriots decide to to pull a CB Blitz like they did last week, Tua better be ready to have a personal relationship with the 'hated' Foxboro turf.

Of the three shows I watched 5 of 11 people have given the Patriots a win. Everyone by 1 point.

Patriots declared WR Kayshon Boutte, OT Trent Brown, LB Anfernee Jennings, CB Jonathan Jones, DL Sam Roberts, OG Sidy Sow, and DB Ameer Speed inactive for Week 2 against the Dolphins.
The big name on the inactives list for the Patriots is cornerback Jonathan Jones, particularly considering the matchup with Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle and the Dolphins. That could influence Bill Belichick’s normally high man coverage rates in addition to the potential to decrease expected blitz rates against the Dolphins. Both Hill and Waddle are adept at generating yardage against zone coverages.

OL is playing about as well as it can.

Pop has to learn to tuck the ball and not be surprised that people at this level are as fast and stronger than him.

Defense did well to hold them to a FG.

Dolphins are running wide and the Patriots just can't keep chasing. They have to set the edge as well as trying to rush the passer.

Looks like this is going to be a very long night.
