That's a pretty specific number. Does it have to be exactly 672 yards?
Didn't Tennessee have 6 turnovers yesterday? Did you land thieves top that?We left so many points on the field with turnovers en sech.
That reminds me of a quote from your old sooner hoops coach Billy Tubbs. (or at least I think it was him.)Let me know when yards gained goes into the Win column, cause you know all the yards in the world don't mean shit without points to back them up.
That's because there isn't a Stoops coaching it.I know that this thread is a slap at Texas Longhorns' defense, but Oklahoma Sooners' offense is a pretty damn good. I would like to see them against the Michigan Wolverines' defense (obviously being a Michigan fan).
Mongo was a great HawkeyePow right in the kisser....
Nice to see ya HC.....Mongo was a great Hawkeye
Also, I haven't looked t the box score yet, but I feel like the Hawkeyes were right in the neighborhood of 672 yards, so........IN!
Oh. Far, far from it. I will say the younger guys still showed several good signs here and there though. We've been absolutely decimated on defense lately. Walker, Dimon, Wade all defense line starters were out, or banged up in Wades case. Starting linebacker Evans had to give up football all together this week due to concussions. Captain and safety Thomas went out early and never returned. Starting nickel back Will Johnson couldn't play. Starting cb who was finally looking decent after converting from WR, Quick got hurt and will miss 6 weeks now. Throw in Mike Stoops and your going to continue to give up points regardless though.OU's defense wasn't exactly stellar.
They hit 2 huge plays on him, but I still don't know why they went after Jordan Thomas so much. By far our best cover corner when you had a true freshman on the other side who barely even practiced ever at OU due to injuries and Texas really didn't throw at him too much
Yeah, Duvernay is fast enough to shit on lightening. Too bad he's on a Tech, Baylor, TCU, OSU, etal type team.Pretty simple. Pretty certain we were rolling safety help to the other side to help that CB and leaving JT on an island. Can't say I blame them. Texas knows Duvernay has 4.3 speed and figured they'd hit at least once. Can't say I'd do it any different.

You can say that again.OU's defense wasn't exactly stellar.
