This is the thing I think.the.maribers got right.
After.the deadline...

TEAM...all together .everyone...teaming.
At.a time.when the mariners..are low..on pitching..
Starting..pitching .
So they could add.a guy .??.

Yeah...if..syndergaard..falls to them.

Yeah mariners don't have any tricks.to pull out.of hat..except..bull pen start..
Then send guys down.while..
Bringing.guys up..for an other bull.pen start.

And Adam.oller....and that is it.far as i know.
McCoughan would not make it..
He needs a cutter or 4th pitch..
Or trade to Arizona .

As much as I like..haggerty..and everyone does..
He could have better opertunitys.
In a place like Miami ...or sandiego.
Why.redundancy..

Mariners have .Moore and Rojas .
And caballero ...and know...bliss.

And Moore in the outfield.as well..
Haggerty..could really fit..in san diego.
As a utility..and that..is no joke

BUMP this bitch to the top. ( we are in the hunt for a post season playoff spot )

Bats MUST come to life, we need to hang 4-5 runs on the scoreboard at a minimum all these road trip games if we hope to win some of them.

I think the bats have been better lately. They just ran into a pitcher who was on the top of his game yesterday. But Geno, Julio, Teo, and Cal all seem to be hot or at least warm at the same time. We could use more production from Ty France but fortunately, we haven't needed it lately. But anytime he wants to heat up is fine with me. He is far too good of a hitter to be batting .250.

France is a career .272 hitter.

What we have seen the past couple years is his high ceiling. And now his power is fading. 10HR's from your portly 1st basemen is far below MLB norms for that position.

Now that we have the starting pitching well stocked, Mariners really need to focus on drafting a slugging 1b or nabbing a veteran free agent like Bellinger before France hits bottom and lingers there.

Agree that we need an upgrade at first base. Disagree that France is fading. He's only 29 and his main problem this year has been patience at the plate. That is not skill erosion, it's a compromising habit that can be corrected. Fastballs aren't getting past him, but he is fouling off more this year, which could also be a vision issue. I would be perfectly fine with him as our primary DH next year, as a 30 year old. I still think he can be a 20-25 homer/90 RBI guy if he practices plate discipline and avoids injuries

M’s need Kelenic back, he’s gonna be a lift down the stretch … M’s are picking a bad time to start struggling, Houston isn’t gonna give up the division, we gotta take it from them …

I honestly don't see this team even making the playoffs as bad as they are playing. Taking the division? Not a chance.

They can still take it, but they’re in a little funk right now… This loss tonight was devastating up 6-3 late .. &@&&&@$ is going on !! You can’t give away wins in Sept, not like that …

They have a lot tougher schedule than both Houston and Texas.

Of course they will win a game here and there they shouldn't, but will lose more they shouldn't along the way.

This is at best an 88 win team.

They keep doing the same things year after year and we are fools to expect any of it to produce different results.

I said it a few days ago in one of the threads ... I had a bad feeling about this road trip.

They need to start banging out some wins or HOU will run away with the division.

If our bullpen can’t figure it out we definitely won’t be going to the postseason.

getting out of Cincy with a win today is an absolute MUST.

Splitting the 4 game set with the Rays to end the road trip is a MUST.

If they finish the next 5 games 1-4 like they just went 1-4 over their last 5 games ... I think they are done / out of post season contention ( mentally not mathematically ) TB could possibly sweep them all 4 games with the way they look right now. Reds could take todays game from them also for a 3 game sweep.

I got a real bad feeling about these next 5 games before limping back home

I can't even THINK to consider postseason possibilities until this team is able to get its shit together and actually figure out what they're supposed to be doing.

Question is, what do Servais and the higher-ups CARE to do in order to help with that?
