what happens to all the in staters that get wait listed at uncg or uncc for 2 years and then transfer into chapel hill. do they hold dual allegiance? did you do undergrad at elon and grad at unc? or life long unc fan that went to elon?

I'm an Elon student. I grew up a Carolina fan though. Both my parents, and almost all of my aunts and uncles, went to Carolina. I still go to all the home football games. I know plenty of people here who are elon "fans" but still care about the teams they cared about growing up whether it's NC State, LSU, or UConn. Id imagine UNCG and UNCC students are the same way, with a lot of students who still consider themselves fans of teams they grew up a big fan of. I'm sure if I went to Wake or Clemson my allegiances would be different, but it's pretty easy to be a fan of both elon and unc
