Gotta disagree. RB at #1 is a horrible misappropriation of draft stock.
I think it's crazy how many people don't even know the names of the RB's out of LSU and USC right now but Barkley is at the edge of everyone's lips and fingertips.

Don't disagree, but they have the number 1 and 4. If they take the RB 1 they are guaranteed a QB. If they take whatever QB 1, it wastes having 1 and 4 to me. You have two picks and walk away with only 1 you need?

OT, OLB and CB are needs as well. Will Joe Thomas ever be the same? They also need a RT, but that can happen later in the draft typically.

At RB, they have their 3rd down receiver type locked up in Duke Johnson, but need to upgrade from Crowell IMO. Quality RBs can be had beyond the 1st round.

Guice and Jones, not to mention Michel and Chubb (Georgia), Johnson (Auburn), Freeman (Oregon), etc. A guy I like a little later is Wadley from Iowa. Josh Adams (Notre Dame) is getting largely ignored for some reason as well.

I personally think Barkley is overrated.

Michel is sensational, still wonder if Chubb is the better suited every down NFL back

I actually don't think Barkley is overrated as being the top RB and a top 10 pick. I think Barkley is a better RB prospect than Fournette but below Zeke and Gurley.

I could see the Browns maybe taking Barkley at 4

Eh, if we didnt need a QB, id be on board

You only get the #2 once

IDK...you might still be able to get your QB...if you can live with Rudolph or Josh Allen.

Assuming DEN goes the FA route with Cousins...now in the draft, let's say CLE takes Darnold, BUF takes Rosen and NYJ take Rudolph.

With 21 & 22 in your back pocket, and 34...you can get back into the 1st and get Allen.

I would call SF, MIA, CIN or WAS and offer #21 and #34 or 21 and next yr's 1st rd pick.

I think Barkley will be a stud. But man it's hard to use the #1 on a RB.

No way to know how great Rosen could/will be. It's a big roll of the dice. Buffalo made the playoffs. They have bigger holes then just at QB. At least with JG there was a small sample size.
If it's a QB they want, look at FA and or trades. Saving at least one or two of those top picks to fill holes. I can't give up that many first round picks on a hope Rosen is going to be a franchise QB.

I wouldn't be excited about giving up both 21&22 (my LT wouldn't be part of this deal) but, you're not going to get a franchise QB picking 21.

I'd probably make the trade with Philly for Foles and lose only 1 of those picks.

Exactly. You just never know where you'll find you franchise QB. Brady, Warner...

Sure they're diamonds in the rough but getting a QB in the top 10 doesn't always = franchise.

No way I would give up three firsts. That's crazy talk.

idk what it is about this kid, I like a lot of what he can do, but I'm not buying Baker as a pro yet. He's probably going mid to bottom of the 1st or top of the 2nd.

What I like about him for the Giants...he'll get some time to see the pro game up close and personal before he's facing live ammo.

if i thought I could get Baker in the early 2nd, Id make this trade in a heartbeat OR Id draft barkley with the 2nd pick, as unpopular as that seems

I only say that b/c it appears no Olineman are worthy of the #2 this season

I think Mayfield has a wide window between Drew Brees and complete bust, but considering each of these tpo QB's seemingly come with some level of skepticism, id gladly take a Barkley/Mayfield combo over one Josh Rosen

I'm not a fan of Baker as an NFL QB, but if you can get him with a 2nd he's worth the roll of the dice.

Can't believe I had to agree with you. There may be hope for you yet.

Here you deserve this upload_2018-2-16_11-16-42.jpeg for the effort.

Gotta disagree. RB at #1 is a horrible misappropriation of draft stock.

I assume we're referring to CLE.

If Darnold and Rosen are 1 and 1a on their board this might be one of those times to go against the conventional grain.

Yeah, I agree RB #1 overall is not a great move...really bad if you only have one 1st round pick, but CLE has draft stock up the yin-yang. CLE can ensure getting two anchors by taking Barkley #1 overall.

yes, and chances he gets to the #4 are not strong...I think the Colts would be all over him, if not another team trading to get there before Cleveland
