Yeah, I don't see much of a way the Bills are getting a franchise QB, outside of trading up, unless they are Lamar Jackson truthers which is fine, but there's not that many of them and even guys who had a lot of negativity (Watson) in the draft process have a way of wriggling their way up the draft.

Yep as soon as the run on QBs start teams panic and guys like Watson move up. Qnother reason to hold onto #21 and 22 IMO. You have the ability to find some great talent there. Guys that should've been top 15.

They certainly have the ammo to do it. They have a boatload of picks. But my sense is, wouldn't they do the deal with the Browns? The Giants also seem to be eyeing Rosen.

I think the Browns take Barkley at one then whoever is left out of Rosen and Donald at 4.
If I were the browns, that would be my game plan.

That would be the smart move by the Browns. Get the guy who can help you now as none of the QB's in this class should take a single snap in the 2018 season.

But in this case they're skipping ONE guy and getting an equally good prospect. Look at it this way, there is no consensus #1.
IMO Rosen is the best, but he also has a greater chance at being a bust.

I don't think Brees has any intention of leaving NE. He'll sign a very team friendly deal.

I don't think Brees will bend over one bit with how outspoken he is with the NFLPA; they have a hard deadline for a new deal. It'll get done with the Saints in contention, but the Saints shouldn't think they get a team friendly deal for a second.

I wouldn't be against sitting with what I have. Take whoever is available at #21 if you want to take a chance. You still have your number 22 and next years first (assuming that's the cost). Also what FA QBs are available next season?

I wasn't really considering Brees, as he is going nowhere. Cousins I did skip over admittedly, but he will be a big investment.

FA QBs are almost never the answer IMO. The odd occasion such as Rivers forcing out Brees also involved a Brees injury. Warner had fumblitis. If you're looking for a franchise guy (and not just a patch job), someone else's cast off is almost guaranteed to fall short.

He was asked a few days ago and he straight up said He will be back in NO.

I'm not saying he takes league minimum, but he'll sign low enough as to not handcuff the salary cap.

Don't disagree, but they have the number 1 and 4. If they take the RB 1 they are guaranteed a QB. If they take whatever QB 1, it wastes having 1 and 4 to me. You have two picks and walk away with only 1 you need?

I think it's a rookie QB, bring back Tyrod on his current contract, or trade for Foles perhaps. Cousins would eat up most of their cap space (after cutting Tyrod). They would have to make moves for other FA moves, especially with a loaded draft pool due to extra early round picks).
