NFL announces: 49ers are playing divisional round 5 pm PT on Saturday the 12th. (It'll be vs. Green Bay, Washington/Dallas or Seattle).

Dang! I didn't want another Saturday game.

Cincinnatti is by far the worst team in the playoffs so I'm not surprised at all.

Normally I'd say it is a tough break for the Packers and Vikings to only get 6 days until the next game, but they already spent the last week preparing for each other so it isn't really a short week.

Here is another weird coincidence too, this will be the 3rd time in the last 4 years that the Packers will play the same team they did week 17 in the Playoffs. In 2009 they had the Cards then Cards in the Wildcard, 2010 they had the Bears then Bears in the NFC Championship, and now it's Vikes/Vikes.

They love putting the games in really cold weather at night for some reason. I mean logically doesn't it make more sense to have the Houston game at night and the Green Bay game during the day? I know, I know it's all about business and the Green Bay vs Minny game will draw a bigger rating so it gets the prime time spot. $$$'s will always trump thinking of the fans and players that have to play in those freezing temperatures.

Gotta say all things considered this has been a pretty entertaining season so far. The next three weeks are my favorite sports weeks of the year, especially when the Niners are in the mix.
