The only thing good about LA winning the cup is that it could (probably not) get the sharks organization fired up to make sure they are not the only team in California without a cup for long.

I'm pretty torn with this series. As a Sharks fan I do not want to see the Kings hoist the Cup. But at the root of it all, I'm a West Coast guy, a California guy, so I do have a spot in my heart for West Coast teams. Especially when they play East coast teams. More OT games please!

LA deserves it the way they've been playing these playoffs.
They are a long suffering franchise not unlike our own, that is now only a breath away from the ultimate prize.

They win the battles down low, they're not afraid finish a check and everyone in an LA sweater is playing like they want the Cup more than anyone else. Coming from the #8 seed and being totally counted out from the beginning to taking one on the road in the finals is a real Cinderella story.

May we find our team in this position one day. Unfortunately, some of the team's key members aren't really displaying any interest in doing what it takes to bring home the prize. Namely, our GM, not to mention a particular veteran slacker.

While I am not a Kings fan in the least I admire the way they are just going after it. Everyone up and down the line is playing like a hero and they are just ass-stomping everyone. I really wish our guys would play like this, and personally I don't think they will magically "get the idea" if the Kings win it.

However being an NHL/Sports fan second to being a Sharks fan I really appreciate the kind of game both these teams are playing.. I think this is going to be an awesome Cup series.
