I have an idea for 1st time law breakers. The Judge should sentence them to watch 50 consecutive Phillies games on tv. They should probably go straight after that!

We'll be playing .400 ball soon right along side Houston and Arizona. It doesn't look good for third place as a reasonable goal.

The D-Backs have an excuse. They have 12 guys on the DL including 3 starting pitchers. Plus their payroll is 75 million less than the Phillies. At least they have some younger players in the mix so they have something to build on.

Byrd must not understand the Phillies philosophy. He is playing to win! He is putting in an honest effort. Nobody is getting on base in front of him. Depression is setting in while watching this team. They seem contented in just collecting a pay check. However I must admit that certain pitchers are putting in a solid effort. The hitters are a different story.

Exactly Northeast. The young bullpen and some of the line-up want to win. The rest of them are content in just picking up the checks. It really sucks as we are up to three-in-a-row in this series with Pissburgh.
