This is what we do best this year. We left the bases loaded with Byrd swinging at high heat. I don't know when these guys are going to get it. Looks like not today.

The 1st 3 pitches Byrd swung at were balls. He gave the pitcher a gift. The Phillies are the worst hitting team in baseball.

Rupp is up on the roster and he is up this at-bat. Somehow, we have got to get these guys to hit better whether they need a different hitting coach or what. Nobody seems to know.

That is Dominic Brown's problem. He just doesn't give a rip and that was an easy catchable ball. He just miss-played the ball because he lacks the foot speed and ball placement judgment and doesn't apply himself to the level that his position demands. When you have announcers coaching a player, we are in trouble.

Howard still swinging at breaking dirt balls. He has some real bad habits stuck in his head even this far along in his career.
