To my reasoning, the HOF should before players who made the game better. Did Joe Jackson and the Black Sox make the game, no they nearly ruined it. Did Pete Rose make the game better, no. His gambling was a huge stain and his constant whining didn't help. Did the Juicers help the game, no. They pissed on the record books just to pad their stats and their wallets. Not saying all offfield behavior should count. Mickey Mantle shouldn't be banned for being a drunk, Rogers Hornsby shouldn't be banned for being a complete dickhead. they didn't hurt the game, just themselves
