Not if Heyward goes to Boston OR Miami.

Nah, he retired. It's Kevin Pritchard now
Yeah, even if they move George again at the trade deadline the Thunder will be sitting in much better shape than they were.
Yeah I remember, as I'm sure the people do I saw on tv last night calling it the biggest trade in the league in 6 years or so.
Never trust a guy with 2 first names.
I like this for the Thunder but we know nothing until players get locked up
Trust and talent are two different things. I was just pointing out that everyone and their mom thinks PG is a rental.List of players to never trust:
Paul George
Chris Paul
Michael Jordan
LeBron James
Kobe Bryant
Blake Griffin
Bill Russell
Jarrett Jack
Isaiah Thomas
Avery Bradley
Nazr Muhammad
DeAndre Jordan
Kyrie Irving
Dwight Howard
Kawhi Leonard
That's a pretty good team

The Thunder can get the last laugh, though. They are 1 piece away from a pretty good team.

I'd take Lebron, Kobe, Kyrie and Kawhi off the list. Lebron, Kyrie and Kawhi because those aren't real names and Kobe because that's the name of a type of beef.
To be fair though, Kobe beef is about as good as it gets.
The Lakers offer was real and much better than what they got.
Yeah the Celtics offer was real as well. Don't know why they chose this offer

OKC deserves props. But I don't see PG staying unless OKC reach at least WC Finals. If Russ don't sign supermax, they may both go 2 Lakers.
Personally - I think when they stated that Paul George was willing to sign a long term contract with Boston in that trade: I think that was a bluff to scare the Lakers into a better trade. When that didn't work - Boston backed out and left them with nothing. A trade for Paul George is a one year rental which leads to the question - why would you give up any draft that could be there long after the one year rental is up? Just my theoryThe more I think about it, the more that Simmons tweet that you posted looks more like the real reason and less like a joke. lol

That's really the part that makes me think Paul George wasn't willing to sign anything and was still a one year rental. With what Boston has, I personally would gladly give Indiana the Philly and Lakers pick or whatever. There's no guarantee either one will be worth squat next year and Paul George would be one hell of an addition that would move them forward. Without a contract extension from George, however - I agree with Boston - The price is too high.If there is a team that could afford to give up a couple of draft picks to take a risk on a 1 year rental, it's the Celtics.
With their defense and the added offense of PG and Hayward, they would be a real threat to the Cavs and I'd bet that making the finals would be enough to get PG to stay in Boston.
No thank you on Russ. I love watching him play...for someone else.
He's all wrong for what Luke is trying to do.
True that. I was entertained every game. Cant say that about every team that wins less than 30 games. Maybe Minnesota. But they only won 31.I doubt that. The one the thing the Suns were last season, was entertaining. Can't say that about the Lakers.
