Don't even know if the season will resume, but I'm going to go ahead and give my player rankings for next year:

1) Giannis Antetokounmpo - Best player in the NBA right now.
2) Lebron James - Will be up here until he starts to decline
3) Kawhi Leonard - load management
4) Kevin Durant - see above
5) Steph Curry - MVP form
6) James Harden - consistent regular season performance
7) Luka Doncic - could be as high as 3 honestly.
8) Anthony Davis - Seems like a good spot here
9) Damian Lillard - see above
10) Russell Westbrook - last season was the best I've ever seen
11) Joel Embiid - Top 5 skills, not always top 10 production.
12) Bradley Beal - Has come into his own as a superstar. Needs to win though.
13) Ben Simmons - Seems like a good spot here.
14) Karl-Anthony Towns - see above.
15) Kyrie Irving - injury prone but fits here
16) Trae Young - not ready to give him a top 15 spot, but damn can he hoop.
17) Devin Booker - See Bradley Beal
18) Pascal Siakam - Showed his progress wasn't a fluke and is a beast
19) Zion Williamson - brilliant in limited time, will have to see how NBA adjusts to him.
20) Klay Thompson - have to see how he bounces back from the ACL, but he's still gonna shoot.
21) Nikola Jokic - Fat, but crafty fat.
22) Paul George - Didn't know where he fit, so here he goes.
23) Blake Griffin - see above.
24) Jimmy Butler - consistent, but not a true star.
25) Donovan Mitchell - gonna play so well it forces the Jazz to trade Gobert.
26) Jayson Tatum - Superstar in the making. Could jump into the top 15 but depends on Brad Stevens.
27) Bam Adebayo - Feel like he's a top 20 player, but didn't know who to bump off in front of him.
28) Kemba Walker - You know what you're gonna get from him.
29) Rudy Gobert - Most booed NBA player next year, easily.
30) Chris Paul - Didn't know where to put him, so here he goes.
31) Brandon Ingram - finally took the leap most have wanted to see him take last year.
32) Ja Morant - He's like a more controlled version of Russ, without the experience yet.
33) John Wall - Think he'll bounce back in a big way after a full season away. He's still even 30 yet.
34) Victor Oladipo - Had a tough time after he came back with his injury but an offseason to train will do wonders for him.
35) Jamal Murray - Just waiting for him to take the leap.
36) Khris Middleton - Very solid #2 on a championship caliber team.
37) CJ McCollum - Reliable shooter, but maybe just not good enough as a #2 player.
38) Jrue Holiday - always underrated
39) Kyle Lowry - see above, but older.
40) Domatas Sabonis - AS last year, but not sure if he plateaus.
41) Kristaps Porzingas - Solid first year back after injury. Should be better next year too.
42) Demar Derozan - Didn't know where to put him.
43) Zach Lavine - Volume scorer on a bad team.
44) Jaylen Brown - Could be higher, but again, Brad Stevens.
45) Shai Gilgeous-Alexander - I think after the season he will be ranked at least 10 spots higher.
46) Draymond Green - Think he'll have a really nice bounce back year after one season vacation.
47) Nikola Vucevic - Reliable player. That's it.
48) Andre Drummond - Will put up huge numbers on a bad Cavs team.
49) John Collins - Think he's a beast. Could end up much higher.
50) Andrew Wiggins (LOL, serious tho)

Fight me.

Just trying to stir shit up on a Tuesday. But I think it's about 90% legit. May have missed a player or two.

If Melo is playing, I've got him number 1. Not only will he give you inefficient offense and crap D, but he'll probably even hold back the development of young players for you, too.

I'm just joking around. Getting a little bored today. But that is a good list.

Think he's a really good coach, but wasn't great in 2019. For some reason he didn't give Jaylen Brown any run when he was clearly one of their best players. I think he's got a really solid basketball mind, but I feel like he's a coach who can do more with less. Not sure how he'll handle having more talent to deal with.

Good list overall.

A couple jump out to me:

I would put Davis a little higher. Probably 6? Maybe 7.

Jokic and Butler need to be top 15. Butler should be ahead of Beal. Beal is very good. But if he is your best player, you are screwed. Butler has proven he can be the best player on pretty solid playoff teams.

I wouldn't put Beal, Booker, and Young where they are unless they've done anything to win. A bunch of numbers is as Sir Charles would say ... Studio Gangsters.

Especially Young, I think he's garbage.

Paul George is better than all those guys. Beal is pretty good, but George is still better.

I think Tatum is better than those guys too.

I agree with everything you said except Young being garbage.

He just finished his second year. He is an elite playmaker/shooter. He just needs to improve his efficiency and figure out how to put up a little resistance defensively and he will be a legit cornerstone player.

The first part should be very doable. Not sure about the second.
