I just don't think Chicago would shop him. They would really have to be tired of his schtick, which is possible I suppose but have fun explaining to the fans why you traded your best goalscorer after he helped deliver 3 Cups.Depending on the exact outcome and any punishment that might be doled out by the league, if Chicago ever started shopping him, I think a lot of teams would still start looking to clear some cap space.
That's what I mean about depending on the outcome.I just don't think Chicago would shop him. They would really have to be tired of his schtick, which is possible I suppose but have fun explaining to the fans why you traded your best goalscorer after he helped deliver 3 Cups.

I'm guessing more of a wing guy. No big deal, we got him covered there too.Does he like hot dogs?

media in Chicago makes it sound like management has had enough of him guilty or not. apparently they had a meeting with him before he signed his contract last summer and he promised party Patrick's days were over. the comment during the parade had them furious. he was all over the city this summer hammered and then these allegations. we should find out pretty soon but I think he is done here. just my 2 cents
The other thing to keep in mind is that as long as a sports star is producing, off the field/court/ice transgressions are quickly forgotten and/or forgiven.
Dont start this....He's a former London Knight so you know that Mark Hunter will put in a good word.
What good is fixing the cap if you suck after you do it?Media in Chicago also said Brandon Saad was devastated to be traded, the allegations against Belfour were "exaggerated" and Hasek would never amount to anything and trading him was the right move.
Just sayin'
Given Chicago's cap hell situation, if they get a chance to move him, I expect they do it.
