Or Broncos of old. You know where Kubiak played and got his coaching chops, won 2 SBs, churned out RB after RB.
I just didn't think the line was able to handle 7 or 8 in the box. Its a very good line I see.

There is no targeting rule in the NFL, that's a college rule.I don't give one shit who wins this game, but how was that not targeting under the new rules?
I guess what I'm saying is, I think the new targeting rule is completely idiotic. But it seems like there literally is no line drawn anywhere. It's just like referees are allowed to decide whether or not they feel like calling it.
So sick and tired of that shit.
Most bitches would have been out of the game in the 3rd quarter with the shots he took tonight. He is tough as nails.
I was impressed with Simian (sp)I can see why Denver selected the QB they did....nice job last night
Great to see D. Ware start the season on a high
Head to Head on the QB???....
Both teams look the part.
So happy football is here
Unless he fumbles the ball in the Super Bowl. Then he's a used bandage. Most bitches would have been out of the game in the 3rd quarter with the shots he took tonight. He is tough as nails.
I don't disagree but if the NFL is very serious about these new concussion rules then I would say the Panthers should at least get a warning that next time it will cost them. He did not look good at all and so to leave him in like that without a team doctor getting the chance to really check him out is just crazy.

Start with the stolen laptop, and then you have the rumors of his dad shopping him around to different schools after he left Florida. Won a National Championship at Auburn, a lot of people don't like Auburn. Then you get all the celebrating which some people find over the top, especially when he was doing his Superman thing at the end of blowout losses. Then of course you have the towel on the head, pouting look he would give when the Panthers were losing.I didn't care either way. I was split. I wanted them to win due to my weekly office pool pickem. A part of me was hoping they would cover then another part of me was hoping Denver would pull it out just because the Panthers are in the Saints division. I don't get the hate for Cam. Never have and never will.
Odds are you are correct. If Sanchez had started they lose that game obviously.

For safety reasons, the Committee believes that crown-of-the-helmet hits by defenders that were previously legal because the defender did not line up the runner should be illegal regardless of whether the defender lines up the runner prior to making contact. When the rule was first implemented, game officials were instructed to look for three elements for interpreting the rule for initiating forcible contact with the crown of the helmet:
Game officials will be instructed to call fouls when a defender lowers his head and makes forcible contact with the crown of his helmet on a runner outside the tackle box. The line-up requirement will still apply to a runner, since in many instances that player ducks his head to protect himself from impending contact by a defender, rather than to deliver a blow.
- The player must line up his opponent
- He must lower his head
- He must make forcible contact with the crown of the helmet.
So much this, and I've said it long before last night. I've never understood why a 5 yard defensive penalty is an automatic first down. Give them the 5 yards and let them try the down again. But the NFL loves offense so I doubt it will ever change.I'm hoping one day the NFL will reconsider auto 1st down penalties on certain call's ... I mean it can be 4th and 85 and you can get an illegal contact penalty and it's an auto 1st down ... And you NEVER know when they're gonna make that call , sometimes it's so tick tack ...

Then you get to last year, when the Panthers are really winning like crazy and he's the league MVP, and you have all the dancing and celebrating and comments like, "if you don't like it, stop me." So then Denver does in the Super Bowl and he acts like a bitch; falls to the ground at the end of the game, pouts his way through a press conference, then storms out when he overhears what Chris Harris is saying. It's the classic case of you can dish it out but you can't take it, and people don't like that. If you want to celebrate the good times, you have to stand in there and take your lumps in the bad times.
Plus you've got the whole jumping away from the fumble in the Super Bowl which really looked like a give up play, like this game isn't important enough for me to fight for the ball. You add all these things up, and you don't understand why people don't like him? I mean, it's fine if none of that bothers you, but really, you can't see how that would rub people the wrong way?

That was the most egregious one IMO, not sure why it wasn't flagged. The Stewart hit, looked to me like he led with the shoulder but the way Cam ducked after the throw caused it to be helmet to helmet. I don't think it was intentional on Stewart's part (if it was, that would be a really stupid thing to do in that situation), and it was flagged anyway. One of the head shots I was speaking of.
