POLL Who here went out of their way to get Peacock to watch KC vs. MIA?

Did you go out of your way to watch the game?

Lying douchebags

No one will call them on it and they'll get away with it.

Was it with disclaimers like on a Saturday night or by a network's streaming service paid monthly. some stupid caveats included? That isn't included but the tweet but is technically correct and the disclaimers just aren't mentioned. Usual nonsense stuff on those sites.

We have Prime and NFL+. Seems to work for me.....
Yeah. If you start streaming every gdamm streaming service you are pissing away your money away imo. The ones you use a lot not those, with maybe a few shows of interest. Too many Paramount+, AMC+ etc etc. around. I had Peacock free for about a month. It was OK but not enough to pay regularly.

Well yeah, it's expensive to just pay for a dozen streaming sites, but who does that? I had Prime to save on shipping and streaming is just frosting, also had netflix from the start. After that it's just using trail periods, specials like $3 a month for first 3 months and I move from one to the other for cheap and have a different menu to choose from regularly. I use to pay $225 for cable and they wanted to raise it to $250 when I decided it was time to cut the cord. I got peacock plus for free from my internet provider when I signed up for their mobile service a few months back, that turned out to be lucky. Streaming is getting more expensive but still a long ways from what I paid for cable and a lot more to choose from to boot

I think it's easy to oversubscribe. But I agree many do sign on to a service for a month or two and then unsubscribe. I've done that. if streaming services are happy with that that's fine with me.

I already had Peacock because I have pretty much every streaming service (get reimbursed by credit card but would probably have any way) but still didn’t watch. not a fan of the pause/rewind functionality of the streaming services and hate not being able to flip around during commercials as easily. Also was out at the Illusionists Table so I would have watched some if home, but 50/50 if I‘d have watched it all Or not

my friend told me he got a free trial through having an instacart membership or something. Not sure the details

Streaming sports is primitive.

I don’t have cable so I can’t watch games on NFL Network or ESPN but you don’t hear me bitching.

Also $5 a year to watch 1 game is still cheaper than paying for cable to watch all MNF games every year.

Reboot of this thread… because the inevitable has happened.

Let the bitching recommence.

Cheap bustard.
It must be a collusion of streamers, it used to be streakers in the 70s. That is why I try to stay indoors, until you go outdoors.

I rarely miss a game, especially playoff games, but fuck NBC for putting this on Peacock. I refused to watch in the hopes that NBC isn't encouraged to pull this shit in the future.

Didn't vote because network providers of the stations that have the NFL rights in Canada are dumbasses
