Gent got to second so fast it looked like he was waiting on a bus or something by the time the ball got there. Way to go!

Michael Morse is one awkward goofy Sasquatch. Watching him play is painful.

Mitch is frustrating , you can see he's got talent . he might be another Chris Davis .

Don't think it's quite the same. Mitch has just been inconsistent and had the crappiest of luck when it comes to injuries at the wrong time. Davis on the other hand just flat out stunk even though he was given chance after chance after chance. I think Mitch or at least hope will be fine.

Adduci had a great game on Sunday when I was at the Dell.

Nice that is the Mitch we know!

Jamey's email this morning promoted the idea of TEX bringing Adduci up for the final month for a look as high potential replacement for Murphy for 2014. From Scott Lucas' email this morning on the RR game yesterday: "LF Jim Adduci improved to .370/.436/.541 in the second half with four hits including his 16th homer". Adduci primarily a CFer plays all 3 spots plus 1b. Better fielder than Murphy with much more speed in the field and on base as evidenced by his 32SB vs 9CS.

One shaky inning by Blackley can't ask for more. 3ER not bad considering Garza has been giving more.

Is Soria in Wash's doghouse? I'd put him in a close game before Ross and Scheppers right now...

Dude hustles too. Great base runner. I forgot he plays 1B too. That is a nice thing to have a 4th OF with speed disciplined on the bases and can play first in a pinch.
