Some of those hitters usually perform better, however. Kinsler, Moreland and Andurs are having particularly down years. They are all usually better than this. And no one saw what was happening with Murphy.

Moreland has reached career highs in HR and RBI.

Kinsler is hitting exactly at his career average and is on pace for roughly 15 HR. Andrus is only hitting 10 points lower than his career average.

I wouldn't say any of them are having poor years when compared to their career averages.

I didn't quite understand Kinsler having an particularly bad year either...EA a little down year

First half EA couldn't get it going at all, picking up here lately, tho.

He was bad in 2010 only the past 5 seasons. But don't let facts get in your way or anything.

Facts? You might want to check yours. Last 5 seasons including this year:

2009: .274 avg 25 HR 80 RBI
2010: .248 avg 14 HR 58 RBI
2011: .301 avg 31 HR 94 RBI
2012: .259 avg 2 HR 7 RBI
2013: .248 avg 6 HR 34 RBI

Now, out of those 5 seasons, care to tell me which one is the outlier? 2010 was his only bad season? So you're just casually ignoring 2012? This year doesn't count either? Even in 2009 when he was younger and in better playing shape he still put up declining numbers from his earlier career norms.

But you want to argue that if he were healthy he'd be a force? Yeah, and if my aunt had balls she'd be my uncle. If Wade Boggs were in his 20's and not in his 50's he'd be winning batting titles for Boston.

I'd have to go back and look at his first half numbers, so I won't argue

or rather.... 'debate'
:D

EA had a rough first half, was batting around .230 for awhile if my memory serves me and everything he smashed went right in a glove. He's gotten some breaks and hit the ball better since the all star break

I have a theory on Hamilton, not that anyone cares, I'll share it after the game

I thought he was talking about Kinsler

Yeah I don't include an injured 2012. He played 39 games. You changed your stipulations though. You were vague and then clarified. Nice try.

You were the one that said even if every player on the roster was healthy it wouldn't matter. It's not true. Lance hasn't been healthy since 2011. I found a hole in your statement, and you went off on some red herring tangent when I did.
