The reason it wasn't an issue was that Ian had to get out of the way to allow Donaldson room to make the play. If he ran into Donaldson it would have been runner's interference.
That's how I saw it too ... Kinsler avoiding getting in Donaldson's play on the ball. TAG thought Kinsler was lucky that Donaldson wasn't able to make the play and tag him and still get Beltre at 1b. I think Kinsler was already past him at that point. When they showed the play from the 3b-2b line though you could see how far onto the grass he had to go to avoid interfering with the play. Had the play been on him ... he would probably have been called out ... but since he was running to avoid interfering with Donaldson umps didn't make a call.
Don't think OAK even said anything about it to the umps either as I remember.
