Grocery shopping today I finally met a nice person who could take a compliment. I was following a young woman up and down the aisle who was wearing really tight exercise pants.
At some point she turned around and I was surprised to see she was probably in her 50s. She saw me looking which caught me off guard so I stammered "Wow, you have the backside of a thirty year old".
She walked right up to me, pulled down her mask, and kissed me on the cheek.
"You're not so bad yourself, sailor" she said smiling and then she walked away.
It's Saturday and nice out so I decided to accept the lie and finished my shopping with a bounce in my step.
