I got out my old VCR and have been watching a lot of stuff I recorded and never got around to watching. "Grand" is really solid.

I ran into an old girlfriend at the grocery store tonight. At first I wasn't sure because of the mask she was wearing. And "girlfriend" may be a strong term, we dated for a couple months over 25 years ago. It was very casual and not serious. She was fun, I liked her. A lot. She had a death in her family that hit her hard. We were young both in age and our relationship so I had trouble giving her the support she needed and she had trouble accepting any support. So we did what we felt we had to do, got into a big argument over nothing to avoid moving forward. I stormed out and that was that. Since then I often thought about her. As I left the store I saw her in a checkout line and turned to get another look. She was looking right at me and waved. I think her eyes were smiling. I want to think they were. I hope they were. I waved and smiled back then turned around, left, and came home.

I went to Penn State main campus and I remember traveling thru/around Altoona between Pittsburgh and State College, and the most exciting thing about Altoona was getting away.
