Anyone else feel that the M's pitchers aren't getting the same inside strike as Kluber. That's 3 K's on pitches inside not even touching the black.

Yeah, and Cano got a horrible one earlier. Don't mind a different interpretation of the zone from ump to ump - but they better be consistent. I thought Felix had several balls called that were well within the zone.

Diaz has always got to get the blood pressure up there. He messes with the mind something fierce.

I'm glad the M's got the win. That said, I have a feeling the Mariners inability to play add on and the bullpen failing to hold the lead are going to be common themes this season. Diaz should not be closer. I'm sorry, his stuff is electric, but he does not possess closer mentality and just throwing him out there year after year isn't going to change that.

Great win against a great team... Kluber is one helk of a pitcher... Cy Young winner...

Overall, a good game. Kluber pitched well - as expected - so the Cruz HR was huge. Felix - though not as accurate as I would like, and hope he improves as the season goes on - pitched well. Diaz nearly gave me a heart attack - seriously, he probably should have blown that game with the way he was throwing. Hanniger was great at the plate. I won't gripe about offensive woes, since Kluber is such a good pitcher -
