i don't know if you read my post from earlier in this thread, but i pointed out that the Rangers are one of the worst in the MLB with 96 errors but that more than 25% of those were committed by 4 players who have each played less than 70 games this season. Ezequiel Duran only played in 60 games and committed 10 errors. Culberson has played in 67 games and committed 7 errors, Ibanez only played in 40 games and committed 5 errors and Meibrys Viloria only played in 26 games and committed 5 errors.
Pull up the Ranger metrics and Seager is not as low as you think and Lowe is even lower than thought
Viloria is graded high though. Am I reading this right?i don't know if you read my post from earlier in this thread, but i pointed out that the Rangers are one of the worst in the MLB with 96 errors but that more than 25% of those were committed by 4 players who have each played less than 70 games this season. i'm not sure what you're reading. all i did was look at stats with number of games played and number of errors. with Viloria i had no complains about his overall play but 5 errors in 26 games is way too manyViloria is graded high though. Am I reading this right?
Fangraphs rating of Viloria is worth looking ati'm not sure what you're reading. all i did was look at stats with number of games played and number of errors. with Viloria i had no complains about his overall play but 5 errors in 26 games is way too many
i don't know where they get some of their numbers. all i look at is games played and errors committed. playing 26 and committing 5 is terrible. playing 149 games and committing 9 errors is not great but extrapolating from those 2 players if the player in 26 commits 5 in 149 he would be projected to commit more than 28Fangraphs rating of Viloria is worth looking at
Lowe was terrible and Seager was one of the better
i can agree with that/ if the pitchers make no effort to hold the runners the catchers will have a problem throwing them out.And of course TX pitchers are terrible defensively and do not hold runners
Pudge would have struggled with these guys lol
