That is a really good article.

The only problem I have with it is that the sample size for THIS YEAR is still too small. If the Leafs continue to be a poor possession team it will be interesting to see how they do in the standings.

For those of you keeping score at home, the windshield conference is 18-5-2 against the bug conference thus far in the early season.

Tough loss for the Jackets, but they hung with the best team in the East for the whole game. Seems like they have timing issues like the beginning of last season and Bobrovsky totally chunked 2 of them.

Jackets gotta get rid of the turnovers, and when they do they should start to get better fast.

I always "love" when they are short of time and waste a full minute showing clips from a previous Coaches Corner.

Not Surprising - Sabres can't score a goal to save their lives


Very frustrating to watch. The top line for the Sabres has had many great chances to score a goal, but they find a way to just fuck it up. Sabres desperately need players who are able to finish great chances.

What really hurt was Kane scoring on the PP with 25 seconds left in the 2nd period.

Sabres well on their way to 0-5-1.

Miller was fantastic tonight, stopping 38 of 40 shots, but once again got no help from his team.
