TSNRyanRishaug: Aaron Asham and Martin Biron on waivers.

Asham wouldn't be a bad pickup for the Flames.

Attention Jarmo - Biron is light years better than Tabasco.

And I will certainly buy a #43 Jackets Jersey.

If this was Kaleta instead of OV, people would be screaming for a 15 game suspension.

I also think the offended party (in this case Mike Brown) also factors into the decision.

/Not saying it's right, just saying that's the way it is.

@EdmontonOilers
Yakupov will not play tonight. "I really liked our group of forwards last game. We'll stick with the same group." @dallaseakins

I'm also hearing that Yak is comtemplating a possible return to the KHL. Man oh man.

i would enjoy this

Yak is back for the Oil tonight - And since they're in Pittsburgh, maybe Wham Bam Van Damme should tend goal for Edmonton.

James Mirtle ‏@mirtle2h Problem with stats we have now is proponents are overselling their value and opponents are denouncing them without proper understanding.

Well stated, Mr. Mirtle.

Watching the OT of the CAR-CHI game right now.

Ryan Murphy has looked pretty good to me. Could turn into a good/excellent offensive defenseman.

According to Nick Kypreos, former NHL player and current analyst for Sportsnet, Sabres General Manager Darcy Regier is on the hot seat.

Speaking on Sportsnet, Kypreos said “the ownership group in Buffalo would have rather waited until Christmas but I’m hearing that the decision could come a lot sooner here and they ultimately will make the change. They’re feeling the heat from the fans that’s for sure.”

Report: Darcy Regier On The Hot Seat | Buffalo Rising

They just said it was:

Tom Fitzgerald - Assistant to the General Manager for the Pittsburgh Penguins

I think Ted Black might have had his say in the possible candidates?

Just watched the highlights of the Leafs/Wild game over on NHL.com.

Leafs had all of 14 shots on goal, & they made 4 of them: One was a late game empty-netter, & one was against Harding, who was the relief goalie. That means that Kuemper saw at most 12 shots... and let 3 get by him. :L

The Sabres should look at the Sens director of player personnel, Pierre Dorion.

Oh god, please not Rick Dudley.

Botterill and Fitzgerald would be OK though. Go with some young blood in the position.
