Yeah, I'm late!

Curtis McClendon

In 2022 as a senior Curtis saw action in 11 games and played a total of 731 snaps for the Mocs. He allowed just 2 QB hurries, 5 QB hits, and no sacks while playing the majority of his snaps at left tackle, and the rest at right guard.

Played a lot at tackle but arms too short for tackle.
Very good blocker!

His arms are in the 88% in length. 99% wingspan. Looks long enough to me. Definitely worth a 5th or 6th

It is a remnant of signing up to SportsHoopla from Japan. Cannot correct the SportsHoopla time. My computer is correct. SportsHoopla computer still thinks I'm on Japan Korea Time (JKT)
Copy that.

My home PC is still running windows 7 and sometimes the clock just stops.

I need to update.

cant find him who are the mocs:suds:
Chatanooga.
Note: NFLdraftbuzz had his arms at 32" After combine, NFL draft.com had his arms at 35" - plenty long to play tackle! He is a guard prospect who is very green and will need coaching.....

Amazing how fast his arms grew!

Worthy of 7th round consideration

Pretty damned good stats in 2022. You think he'll still be around in the 7th?

I'm not gonna be shocked at all if BB takes a punter and a kicker this draft and I could see him trading an early round pick for a few mid to late mids to address it.

It doesn't seem that long ago that a pick for either position required a once in a decade type talent.

I’m all for drafting a kicker and punter. No earlier than the 6th round though. That last kicker we drafted (Rohrwasser) left a bad taste in my mouth .

Sorry but I'm busy tomorrow morning so I'm getting my pick in early. Has anybody listed this dude yet? I don't recall seeing so I'm assuming no. I believe BB is going to trade back few times leaving us with a lot of middle picks. 3rd round pick. Receiver. Jaylin Hyatt.

So, I guess I'm up today?

I've attempted to systematically start with our 3rd round avoiding those early flashy picks in hopes of finding a hidden gem or two here in the mid rounds. Maybe I'll circle back to our 1st and 2nd after FA winds down?

I've now reached our final pick in the 4th round. With pick #135 the NE Patriots select Jonathon Mingo, WR, Ole Miss.

Time to invest in a big red zone target. Imagine Mingo 6'-2", Henry 6'-5" and Gesicki 6'-6", Parker 6'-3" JuJu the small one at 6'-1" all flooding the red zone? Very difficult for a team to cover. Mingo ran a 4.46 to go with a 39.5" (91%) vertical on a 6'-2", 220 lb frame.

SCOUTING REPORT: STRENGTHS

  • He’s broad-shouldered, long-limbed and a smooth athlete who showed the ability to make plays downfield.
  • Has top focus and does a nice job catching the ball in stride. Decisive runner who doesn't go down easily despite his size.
  • Mingo plays with a smoothness and balance, and Mingo shows a knack for setting up defensive backs.
  • Mingo transitions quickly from receiver to runner, and he has enough speed to threaten the seam
  • He’s equally dangerous in catch-and-run situations as he is taking the top off a defense
  • Is a much better deep threat than his timed forty would suggest, and will tend to get faster the deeper he gets
  • Is an impressive blocker - can pancake DBs on running plays
  • Has a knack for getting open and is a quarterback's best friend - passers just need to toss the ball in his area and he'll come down with it.

I think you dead nuts on him. Will Bill take him in the 3rd or hope he's still around in the 5th??
We currently don't have any 5th round picks. Would need to trade down. Though I figure with 11 picks BB will likely find a 5th somewhere.

I follow you and I thought you got your pick in early?
