Sorry I’m late to the party.

My selection with one of our 6th round picks:

QB Clayton Tune University of Houston (pair him up with my wr I profiled Nathaniel Dell from Houston)

I like it but according to the article on him he likely won't be available in round 6. So do you take him with one of the 4th's?
Draftbuzz has him going in the 6th. I've seen others say 4-6? One had him as late day 3 for what that's worth?

Seems almost too good to be true. Maybe trade a 4th and move back to the 5th and take him there? I'd be happy with that?

I’d love him in the 6th. I like his game tape and what the “experts” say about him. Not sure I’d go a 4th because QB isn’t a top need. But I like this guy.

I have seen him fall to the 6th and IMO would be a great pick

Round Projection 4

Safety

JL Skinner

Boise State

Summary:

JL Skinner is a tall player with long arms who is capable of impacting pass windows. He uses that length, as well as active eyes and burst, to make plays on the ball. Skinner has shown an ability to break his feet down in space and wrap up tackles, but struggles when he arrives head down and does not play through the core. He has a lean build, so overall play strength suffers. As a high-waisted player, transitioning across the field and man-coverage roles are a concern.

Strengths:

Great length

Active eyes and burst to close downhill

Breaks his feet down in space and wraps up to finish tackles

Established history of ball production

Weaknesses:

Question his effectiveness in man coverage as a high-waisted player

Lean build, lacks overall play strength

Tackling issues arise when he goes head down

With DMac retiring, I like this pick.

Even if it is a recycle...

All the more reason to grab him. If you or anyone else wants to make a consolidated list have it.
Draftbuzz has him late 2nd. Too rich for my blood. The negative on him is what I like in a safety. Hard hitter who can wrap up even when their head is down.

I like his size and good speed.

If we don't address earlier I'd use a fourth.

Walter has at 14th QB - one behind Stetson.
He had a lot of good things to say except "he did not impress at Senior Bowl"
Rated him 6th to 7th round because somebody was not high on him. That's very scientific!
