The GOAT had multiple number ones, two top TE’s, a stellar running game, a solid line, and a top defense, and only made it to the SB once in three years in TB. Yet he won 6 Super Bowls in NE with a bunch of nobody’s.

I’m not sure what my point is. Just saying
So

He won the SB in Tampa once for every three years.

And in New England he won the SB once...for...every...three...years...?

I'm sitting here trying to figure who's turn today it is and why they have not posted. It's me??????

Tyler Scott
  • Junior Olympic sprinter with electric top-end speed.
  • Ten of 14 career touchdowns went for 30-plus yards.
  • Very fluid and athletic in his movements.
  • Able to accelerate to top speed very quickly.
  • Drives and leverages coverage away from stem points.
  • Former high school running back with excellent run-after-catch talent.
  • Offers dynamic versatility due to his skill set.
  • Punt return potential waiting to be cultivated.
  • Keeps pedal floored while turning to track the deep ball.
In addition, Scott squatted 600 pounds and did 16 reps at 225 pounds on the bench press and maxed out at 345."

I like him.

Ya. Like I said I didn't really have a point other than to point out that the GOAT went to a team built for a SB with an all around top offense AND defense and won one yet when he wasn't the GOAT won three Super Bowls in four years with a bunch of castoffs on offense and a solid defense. And in his 3rd season with TB went 8 and 9 with that same team a little beaten up.

If there's any point at all it's that I trust BB when it comes to team building.

He’s a freak athlete for sure. Seen his draft profile go from 1st to 6th round. I’m sure he will shine at the combine and put him somewhere in the 2nd round.

Only had to be great in the eyes of keeping TB clean and giving him time to throw along with time for Randy to get down field.
Randy's biggest problem in Oakland was nobody could throw him the ball when they were on their back.

5"11" 185 lbs, The negative sides that I read about him are mostly coachable and if willing to put in the work are correctable. Any idea what is vertical is. At 5'11" I assume he would be in the slot or lined up a #2? I love more speed it's really where the NFL is trending and I feel we are still a bit behind the curve although BB did draft speed last year I think he will do it again this year. I like that he played RB and has decent hands, his ability to make the first guy miss with his acceleration and overall speed could make YAC pretty significant. Solid Pick

Seem a lot of us feel the need for WR where we differ is what round we address that need.

Russ Hochstein wasn't great or even good. He was borderline bad but with one strength that can't be overlooked. He played well within the system. Because of that his weaknesses were covered by the strengths of others around him.

I see him ranked all over. The links says edge but he's more than that. He's fast enough and plays both inside and out but needs to improve his tacking. 4th round?

Not good against the run.
I am against any edge that cannot stop the run. We have psss rushers and have a moderate need for a run defender.

  • He’s often slow to react and locate the ball against the run.

I see a lot of "Experts" claiming we need another edge rusher not sure I agree. I like his size and versatility, what I read was that because of his size and ability he can pretty much line up anywhere. This is something I think BB would covet. And again playing in the SEC I feel gives an automatic edge.

I agree that an edge pass rusher isn’t high on team needs. He can definitely get pressure on the QB. Was impressed with that stat. He has the smallest wing span of any DL in the draft. All I’m picturing is a damn T-Rex.

I think your point is you don't need a top 10 WR or one drafted high to win the SB. Which is a valid point.
