Lexie Wise holding a 3' tall picture of her and David Wise's daughter's head is kinda weird.

I get it... but it's weird.

Lyman Currier's ACL tear looked so painful. Crowd went dead silent while he shreiked.

I couldn't watch.

Some of these sports are so hardcore because they ALL tear up the knee, break multiple bones, etc. at some point in their career. When you're constantly jumping 15-20 feet in the air, it's just a matter of time.

Oh my god... first it's the judging events, and now it's the timed ones too?

Honestly, you don't understand the point of the Olympics and your posts in this thread are annoying and stupid.

This guy is ruining this thread for me.

Not that I'm rushing to Wolfie's defense, but I did watch the first run for both the USA and Canada sleds and while the USA team got off to a slightly faster start, the driver of the USA sled bounced that sled off the walls at least three or four times (in contrast, the Canadians were quite clean). As I stated earlier, maybe the USA is employing better technology (better runners, aerodynamics) than Canada.

/This might also be a good time for a reminder that the ignore feature can be utilized to bypass posts from any member on the board :)

Johnny Weir and Tara Lapinski are an awkward in-studio interview. When Costas sees what Lapinski looks like and what Weir is wearing, he might actually wish his pink eye was worse.

Men's parallel snowboard coming up - Can Jasey Jay Anderson repeat his gold medal performance from Vancouver? Looks like a beautiful day in Sochi today.

Be a surprise if he medals really. Has not had a top 10 once this season. But we are due for a surprise medal, so here's hoping....

Yes, she is. And she shouldn't quit her day job...

Some people are Olympic class athletes. Others cut pop albums. Others yet are models. Further, others sell jewelry.

Some people do all of those things.

Most of us struggle day-to-day to be competent in our low-paying jobs. I fall into that most of us, in case that wasn't obvious from the tone of the post.

Some pretty nice results from the Canadian girls on the women's parallel snowboard course...

Could have three Canadian girls moving onto the round of 16 in the parallel snowboard.
