I guess its down to 8 million left since they felt the need to resign Travis Homer for 2 million dollars. I guess Ian Wheeler will not even get a shot to show where he was headed last preseason.
I thought Wheeler was killing it last summer and had a great chance to make the roster until he suffered that horrific injury. He may not have fully recovered, which likely explains bringing Homer back. Not to mention Homer was an excellent contributor on STs.

Here's the original Top 100 Free Agent list from CBS Sports, updated to show who has signed and who's still available:

The most surprising thing when reviewing this is how many of the unsigned players are OL. You'd think that the unit which should be amongst the most in demand is the one protecting the QB.

Happy with this re-sign. Kramer provides IOL depth, versatility, and familiarity, including center. And except for that disastrous fumble against the Commanders, he's even provided a decent fill-in as a FB blocker in the run game. Glad he's back.

I made a crack about him being our special weapon on the goal line like Detroit had with Skipper last year. He made huge strides forcing the bears to keep him active last year after the shared practices with the Bengals would have had him poached, maybe by the Bengals. I dont know what his role might be in the future, but we all know we are one or two injuries away from being right back in last years boat.

He was killing it. I read a headline about bad news about Jeanty, did not get into it, whether it was the news that the Raiders are all in on him with the 6th pick or something else, but I really need to see us getting some production out of our picks or our draft free agents and that only happens if they stay on the roster. I really dont want to see starters on special teams anymore.
