Is it really that big of a deal though - We'll likely end up a few medals short of the haul in Vancouver, but it's still been a very good showing by Canada. We have strong athletes in a variety of events and sometimes it just boils down to luck (either good or bad).

Canada missed an opportunity in their first end against China after making some great shots to set themselves up nicely.

It seems to me that Canada is largely outplaying China so far. Just one missed shot in the first end, and everything else has looked really good from them, as far as I can tell.

And the Canadians are jacked. Holy cow. This is the first I've watched them.

Looks like Canada has shot stone, but I don't see anyway they can score 2 this end. I don't know if it's worth the risk to attempt a crazy shot.

Edit: Good try on the tapback raise and Canada score 1 to take a 4-2 lead after 5 ends.
