i think some on here are ignoring that in their desperation to legitimize the lack of moves

No. He is a problem/injury waiting on a time and place to happen. Honestly I hope to be wrong but his history kind of bares it out. He was once a pleasure to watch.

Yeah and still I think the plan since he came back was to use him sparingly a couple days per week so that he stayed as healthy as possible. I just don't see him being of much use to the team going forward. I would just assume move on at this point. Thanks for the memories Josh

Griffin, 28, signed a minor league deal last winter and made the club after coming back from Tommy John surgery with the A’s. He logged a 5.07 ERA in 119 innings and could be either the team’s fifth starter or a swingman, depending on how the rest of the offseason and Spring Training play out. He can be controlled through 2018.
