There are only 4, and the other 3 suck. Checks out.
If I understood Desmond at all, he wants no part of SS. Has this changed?
Nope.

They will save the day games for July and August.Opening Day will be Opening Night in 2017... game time at 6 pm. Very odd.
My memory may be a little sketchy, but I thought he agreed to move to the OF for the Rangers. If I understood Desmond at all, he wants no part of SS. Has this changed?

I haven't seen than mentioned anywhere. Except here, by you, obviously.

By the time we signed him he was desperate.Maybe I made this up. ha ha
But I can't imagine that Desmond thought going to the OF would help him be a better SS for his long term future.
However, there doesn't seem to be much available at either the CF or SS position on the FA market, so maybe he's willing to play wherever if the monies are right.

Certainly upped his current stock, in my opinion.
I remember wanting the Rangers to get him a few years back when the Yankees signed him. That offseason I really would have liked getting 2 or 3 of him, Beltran, Cruz, Napoli and Jose Abreu. Instead we got Choo and Prince. Oh well, water under the bridge. The Astros just picked up McCann.

It depends on what else they do to me. I don't know that I want Choo and Beltran both at this point, but then can we really depend on Choo for more than about 50 games anyway. They have too many holes to fill so if they can get Napoli for cheap and put Rua in the OF then that is fine with me. Of course a guy like Rua may be a part of a trade package so who knows. I haven't looked to see how much we have to spend, but I don't expect Nap will break the bank. He'd been a good pickup for a few seasons. I don't think he's got much in the tank, but they aren't looking for a lot from what I've read.
Questions: Do you want Betran back? How about Nap? If yes, what would you give for each?
Astros are also signing Josh Reddick
McCann and Reddick doesn't make for a hot streak IMO. ha
doubt they are finished but hey we got Middlebrook so i'm feeling good about next season
Ya never know about the winter winds and how they blowdoubt they are finished but hey we got Middlebrook so i'm feeling good about next season
