I wasn't even going to mention that play. That one hurt. A lot. Great read by the CB on that play. It was FUCKING RIDICULOUS to not be running the ball there. Tried to get cute and it probably cost Dallas the game.

I was shocked they didn't run but they pulled a Pete Carrol on that one. Both Gunter and Hyde knew the play was coming and Gunter told Hyde to go for the pick and he would stay with Beasly if Hyde missed the int.

Currently watching the replay of the game. On the 3rd and 3 on the final drive for Dallas, Dak missed Beasley who was wide open on a little 5 yard out. Never looked his way

Man, tough loss for Dallas. 2nd time the go 13-3 with the number one seed and don't net a win. GB missing their top 3 RBs, All Pro WR, best CB and stud LT.

You really have to think what GB did. Imagine it flopped and Dallas without T. Smith, Zeek, Dez, their top CB and going to a 13-3 team on the road and winning. Rodgers is phenomenal.

But but according to Skip Baseless and some Dalass homers Dak outplayed Godgers.

You forgot that they lost their best player in the secondary in Morgan Burnett as well. They had some guy off the street playing at safety.

Because they couldn't do shit in the first three Q's. It wasn't until the 4th Q when Packers started playing soft coverage and zone with prevent defense did the Cowboys have sustained drives for a TD.
You keep talking prevent D, did they play prevent offense too?

It's called being conservative. Normally Mcmuffin does this like he did in the NFC championship with the big lead vs the Hawks. No reason we shouldn't have beat the Chickens by 3 TD's in that one. In this game I give him credit he stayed aggressive. Rodgers missed the wide open bomb that basically ends the game 35-13. After that we did go into prevent defense/soft zone coverage. MM stayed aggressive except he settled for the FG which everyone in the building knew he was going to run so Ty was destroyed for a loss of 4. He played to not lose the game there. I think much has to do with the momentum. When you just give the opponent points you let the crowd get back into the game and then the score is closer and their defense feeds off that. Having Mcmuffin and Dom Crapers who are notorious for shutting it down with big leads is the worst one two punch in the game. Rodgers has to beat the opponent, refs and play calling. I'm glad he drew up the last play by himself which led to the 35 yard catch to set up the game winning FG.

Just like Matt Barkley and the Chicago Bears woke and played better to tie the Packers after being down 27-10 before the 4th Q.

Whatever helps you sleep at night buddy I guess that's a good moral victory for that young team that's going to have 4 super bowls over the next 10 years.

I haven't and won't claim anything going forward, but I do like the possibilities the Cowboys have in the near future.
