So happy Bulls said no to Boston. Boston looked like they were offering #3 and a player(dont know the player).

on the positive note Bulls in on Monroe.

If you guys were the Sixers, who would you give up for the #3 pick from Celtics

Okafor or Noel?
No way in hell I trade Okafor. Noel I would do #3 pick for. This way they grab Simmons and Dunn the 2 guys they want.

As a sixers fan I'd prefer to give up Okafor. But I think Noel is valued more around the league.

Just like the Lakers supposedly loved Okafor last year. One thing about the Lakers; if you're hearing a rumor, it's almost never true. The Lakers are pretty stealthy with their moves. One thing that is a decent predictor is a good workout by a 2nd round prospect could be a sign of their intent later in the draft, like with Nance last year.
Should of took Okafor. Man that was a big mistake.

Why Okafor is already better then Noel. Noel already hit his ceiling. If Im Boston I want Okafor.

I was for taking him too, but I have to admit Russell wasn't a bad get. kid's DEFINITELY got some good potential. yes, we could use a quality big, but I think we can grab one in FA so I think it'll work out...

that was my thought. imo the better and more consistent player of the 2...

I just don't think Embiid and Okafor can coexist on the same court either. Okafor is a terrible defender. I'd much rather play with Embiid and Simmons with Noel coming off the bench, along with Saric, or Saric can play the 3. Wouldn't mind a lineup with:

C: Embiid
PF: Simmons
SF: Saric

Simmons could play the role of point forward. Play Stauskus at SG, and get a PG(hopefully) in this draft.

I just dont think Russell will ever get it until its too late. I think he might have a little Russell Westbrook in him. The problem is Russell doesnt have Durant to lead.

I dont get why Embiid is being talked about. The guy hasnt played basketball in 2 years.

If you get that #3 or #4 pick U guys are picking Dunn. He would be a good fit for you guys.

I hear what you're saying, but I just think it's a little too soon to pass judgement. new coach and new system coming into play has a lot to do with things too imo. we'll see how it goes...

Okafor may have put up slightly better numbers, but I think Noel is more valuable as a defender/rebounder. Also, the way the Sixers roster is constructed, it makes more sense to keep Noel. Noel is a much better player off the ball, which will be the case with everything running through Simmons in the future.

Ever get what? The kid is 20 years old and has 1 season under his belt. Outside of the Swaggy P thing, he's had zero problems, he works hard in practice and as soon as the season was over, he was right back in the gym working on his game. He improved dramatically last year once Byron began starting him and had him playing consistent minutes. He's says he's going to play in the summer league, even though he doesn't have to.

What exactly does he "not get?"

i'd be MIGHTY surprised if the Sixers give up Noel at this point...

I admit I'm very susceptible to familiarity bias when it comes to the NBA draft.

If he can ever get healthy he's a game changer. His upside is better than Okafor IMO.

that'd be the key, keeping him healthy...

actually liked this kid coming outta Kansas, but he's definitely off to a rocky start in the NBA. hoping he DOES get healthy and stay that way so he can show everyone what he can really do...

Completely disagree. Okafor is a defensive liability and slows down the offense. He is a horrible fit for a Walton-coached team. I would much rather have Noel of the two.
