I mean I said that somewhat tongue-in-cheek, but it is a lot harder for young kids going to teams like that. And they lose out on a lot of valuable development that could be had somewhere, almost anywhere else during those first 4-5 years.

Simmons is going to be a good one. This kid can do it all. Needs to work on his shooting but once he gets that down we might have our Next great super star. Lets just hope Philly doesnt ruin this kid.

Simmons is going to be a star. All he really needs to add is a pull up midrange jump shot. He doesn't need to stretch out to the 3 point line, because he's going to be a guy with the ball in his hands. When he attacks the defense, he'll have them on their heels because of his ability to put the ball on the floor and make plays. He'll have any pull up shot he wants from 18 feet.

He almost seems afraid to take that shot. As far as being a star, that will be tempered by the team he is on. When your best asset is passing, your impact will be dependent on who you are passing to. Sixers desperately need some perimeter shooting threats.
